Our community, with fire hydrants strategically situated in the park, is located within Haines City limits. The park is serviced with the city sewer and water systems; city garbage collection and city police and fire protection. Electricity is provided by Duke Energy, with energy saver plans available; local telephone service is by Verizon. We are gated at our south entrance and fenced on our park boundaries. Haines City post office, built in 1988, has a 25,000 square-foot area and is located approximately five miles southeast of Heartland Estates. Individual park mailboxes are located on the west side of the clubhouse. Mailbox numbers correspond to lot numbers. Also available are keyed parcel boxes for over sized packages and a mail drop. Children under 18 are welcome to visit two weeks, twice annually. Pets must be approved by management.

The clubhouse, with approximately 5,000 square feet, overlooks the swimming pool and Lake Hester. Inside the building, amenities include a kitchen, a ballroom equipped with an excellent sound system, a pool room, a library, an exercise room, and a screen room. Adjoining the recreation building is a 28' x 53' heated swimming pool, two horseshoe pits, and four lighted shuffleboard courts. Residents enjoy a wide range of activities and organizations, including bingo, craft shows, computer club, game nights, coffee hours, shuffleboard, investment club, water exercises, breakfasts, pot luck suppers, barbecues, pig roasts, silent auctions, golf cart parades, Christmas dinners, ladies' luncheons, Thanksgiving dinners, New Year's Eve parties, and dances with live bands.
